We are in a holy land, sacred to Pachamama. The place is rich in legends and stories about a magical underground city called Erks. This is a gateway between earth and heavens and it was a sacred pilgrimage place, where people of all indigenous tribes came to celebrate gatherings and ceremonies since very ancient times. Some people say Erks is a golden city where a sacred eternal blue flame is attended by blue priestesses. For us, priestesses of the Goddess of the Southern Cross, blue is sacred as it represents Her beautiful starry sky. The Temple is guarded by two holy mountains: Uritorco (which was usually revered as a male place but we discovered She is a very feminine giving birth Goddess!) and the Gemelas (the Twin Mountains) that represent the nurturing breast of Pachamama, our Holy Mother Earth. Our Argentinian Goddess Temple is an open place to all the Goddess´ traditions. We celebrate seasonal and moon ceremonies and keep a space of teaching as well as quiet meditation. You are invited to join and visit us! We celebrate an annual Goddess Conference between November and December. You will be very welcome! PaGaian MoonCourt Blue Mountains, New South WalesA temple in Goddess’ service: it is a sacred Court for Her rituals of never-ending renewal – the eternal Re-Creation which is represented in the Wheel of the Year, the phases of the Moon and all Being. The MoonCourt was built by a local craftsperson using recycled building materials to produce a cob wall with Solstice windows and an Equinox marker. It has a reciprocal roof frame. It is the site for Seasonal ritual for an open community – a taste of these celebrations of the Triple Goddess as Cosmic Dynamic of Creativity can be had at YouTube pagaian channel. PaGaian MoonCourt is the home of PaGaian Cosmology which is a co-creation of Glenys Livingstone Ph.D. (Social Ecology) and Taffy Seaborne M.A. (Social Ecology). Glenys is the author of PaGaian Cosmology: Re-inventing Earth-based Goddess Religion, which you can read at the above link. To the right is the latest photo of the temple - taken from the inside as decorated for the 2009 Eostar celebrations. Check here for the latest photos of the emerging MoonCourt. Gaia's Garden 11 Munro St Kew East, 3102 Gaia’s Garden is a wonderful location in Kew East, Victoria, Australia, which contains a sacred ceremonial space, labyrinth and meditation spaces. We conduct workshops and study circles as well as allowing for small groups and individuals to privately use the spaces by negotiation. While we acknowledge that there are men who are also on this journey we have reserved the garden for women who often do not have the resources to explore their spirituality in harmony and peace. Goddess Temple - GodinnentempelOur vision is to create and maintain a permanent contemporary Goddess Temple openly dedicated to the Goddess. The Goddess Temple is a sacred space open to all, which is specially set aside for the exploration and celebration of the Divine Feminine. It is a holy place where we can worship and honour Her in ways that are old and new and where all our love for Her is welcome. You can find us at www.freewebs.com/anykjacobsmoontree/goddesstemple.htm. The story of the Dutch Goddess Temple begins in the year 2000 when two women meet: Manon Tromp and Sandra Warmerdam were both on a journey of spiritual growth. Sandra initiated as a Priestess in 2002 and during her initiation made a promise to the Goddess to bring her back to Holland. Together, Manon and Sandra decided to join hands in bringing the Goddess back in Holland. They attended spiritual fairs where they spoke of their beliefs and their goal: a Goddess Temple in Holland; a spiritual space to share with people their love for the Goddess. They also organized sacred tours to Avalon, wanting to share their love for this magical place with other people. In no time they had about 150 people who were interested all over Holland, Belgium and even France. In Holland there is very little provision for people who are interested in the Goddess. There are almost no Dutch books about the Goddess, and fewer known places to visit, so there is a lot of work to do.
Sooner than Sandra expected we were offered a space to use for free for at least eighteen months and in August 2003 we began work, first decorating, then smudging (a lot) followed by performing eight private ceremonies, calling in the Goddesses based on Ana’s Wheel, a very intense thing to do being just the two of us. Doubting if we were ready after all, there was the opening on September 21st 2004. We were nervous, wondering if anyone would show up, asking if this is really what She wants us to do. About 25 people came and were really interested, not just to support us, Manon and Sandra, but because they wanted to connect with the Goddess, Her female inspiration and to feel our Celtic background. We started performing the ceremonies of the Wheel – being the Dutch Wheel – and very soon some women joined the board and the Foundation, helping with the ceremonies, taking the lead, donating and showing up at fairs and markets to spread the word.
Sandra relaunched the idea of a Goddess Conference and we worked hard on it. The first Dutch Goddess Conference in Lochem was a great success. In the meantime the building in which the temple of Avalon Mystic was located closed for a big make-over and left us without our meeting place and temple for half a year. It was a challenge really, but at last in November 2005 we could reopen our beautiful new place in the same building with an impressive Samhain ceremony, visited by many people, who had not lost their way to the temple and the Goddess. Emma, priestess of Avalon, who was with us, gave her blessings to the Dutch temple as did every one present that day. Sandra began teaching a course for Priestess of the Goddess at Samhain 2004, and so the first group of temple priestesses became a fact, a herald of De Boomgaard (The Orchard) that we launched April 2006. This is the beginning of a true spiritual community of women! A second group of students has started at Samhain 2005, the ceremonies are organised by a fine group of priestesses and we continue to work hard on the second Dutch Goddess Conference. Changes have occurred in the composition of the board, Manon finally heading for her own spiritual path with her Natural Magic. A group of volunteers and co-workers has created a wonderful team of women, focused on the Goddess and women’s spirituality in the Netherlands. CONTACT US!Do you want to be part of a team of wonderful women creating a spiritual community….. either with your time, money or other gifts? Would you like to know more about the temple? On September 2, 2006, the long-awaited Swedish Goddess Temple opened in Söderhamn, Sweden. The flame of the Temple was kindled during an event in Söderhamn's theatre, accompanied by magical entertainment, lectures on the return of the Goddess, and music. To the rhythmical tones of the drum and the deep forces of Mother Earth's calling, people marched in procession to the Temple. The ceremonial fire was lit, and the Temple declared open. The flame that was kindled represents the fire of the child, the sacred fire that burns in each of us. That fire will always burn outside the temple. This fire stems from the fire lit over the victims of Hiroshima, Brigid's fire of Kildare that has been kept alive since the 6th century, and the flame from the Goddess Temple in Glastonbury. Now it burns in Söderhamn! The Goddess Temple stands for peace, serenity, and all that supports, heals, honours, and unites us and our Mother - the Earth. The divine feminine has been oppressed, repressed, and lain dormant for centuries. We have turned our faces upwards, to the Father in the sky, and almost forgotten the Mother who nourishes us, and upon whose body we live. The Mother Earth, the Goddess, is calling for her children to come home to Her - to respect Her sacred places and all Life, for all Life is sacred. Hel is the oldest Goddess of the Nordic countries, and we welcome her in Her land: Hälsingland. The Temple is a meeting-place, a forum for human development and healing; physically, mentally, and spiritually. It is a place for recharging your batteries, a place for prayer, meditation, ceremony, ritual, lectures, and courses in existential matters, and a place for singing, music, dancing, and creativity. The Goddess Temple is open all weekdays from 12 - 6 pm. It is open for meditation, prayer and conversation on 7 – 9 pm Monday evenings, and for private and group sessions with Margitta Wigren on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The Temple of Goddess Spirituality Dedicated to Sekhmet was built in 1993 as the fulfillment of the promise that Genevieve Vaughan made to Sekhmet in 1965 when she asked Her to bless her with children. The Temple is a straw-bale structure covered in stucco. The Temple houses a statue of Sekhmet facing the Nevada Test Site. Across from Her is the statue of Madre del Mundo, originally placed at the Nevada test site in 1987. Both statues were made by Marsha Gomez. Smaller statues of goddesses of many cultures adorn the walls.
The Temple sits fifteen miles east of the Nevada Test Site, three miles west of Creech Air Force Base and about eight miles from two prison facilities. The Temple is a force of peace in the midst of hostility. All the land where the Nevada Test Site sprawls once belonged to the Western Shoshone. The U.S. government is in violation of the Ruby Valley Treaty, signed in 1863, which declares this land to belong to the Western Shoshone. In recognition of their rights, Genevieve Vaughan ceded the land surrounding the Temple to the Western Shoshone in 1995. The Temple of Goddess Spirituality Dedicated to Sekhmet was founded on the belief that mothering and women’s values of care are the basic human values. Because we believe that women are the spiritual leaders in the promotion of these matricentric values and because we want to promote and support women in spiritual leadership roles, all group rituals held on the Temple grounds are led by women and the Temple Fire is tended by women.
The Temple was built to honor Sekhmet, and she shares her space with other manifestations of the Divine Feminine. During ceremony, only the Divine Feminine is honored. The Temple serves the community as a place for centering and meditation. The Temple and grounds are a woman-based eco-spiritual refuge. The Wheel of the Year and Moons celebrations are open to all. Located near John Wayne Airport at 17905 Sky Park Circle in the city of Irvine, California, USA. The Goddess Temple of Orange County's vision and mission: "The Goddess Temple of Orange County powerfully, magically holds this vision for the world: that women worldwide are joyfully reclaiming their ancient natural spiritual authority and powers through service to and reverence for The Sacred Feminine, thus restoring kindness, peace and prosperity to humanity and balance with our relations with Mother Earth for the good of all." "It is the mission of The Goddess Temple of Orange County to provide a prosperous, harmonious, beautiful and safe physical location, with a powerful, congruent energetic field, through which women, local and worldwide, can compassionately connect to help each other manifest the vision for the good of all." The Temple offers two Sunday worship services for women. At our first morning service, "Priestess Wisdom, Peace & Power" Ritual (9:30 am - 10:15am), we work to transform hurtful tribal beliefs. Each month this service focuses on a new series topic connecting everyday life experience with the spiritual. Our main Sunday worship services (11am -12:30pm) start with drumming and dancing, include candle lighting, often a guest priestess with an amazing message, goddess culture and education, Jewel of the Lineage (honoring a great woman leader from history to the present), Medicine Woman Herb, Animal Totem, Women's World Healing Prayers, Spiritual Weather Report (astrology) and much more. Always different … always wonderful … always spontaneous flowing of spiritual energy and power! The Temple is also open to women for personal work and prayers to the Goddess on Wednesday - Friday 12pm - 7pm; Saturday 12pm - 5pm; and Sunday 9am - 2pm. In addition to the women's spiritual services, the TEMPLE has special events and selected classes where gentlemen are warmly welcomed.
