The full training course with its many circles held in Glastonbury over three years is the best way to learn to become a Priestess of Avalon, but sometimes it is not possible to do this. Kathy Jones, the course founder, has decided to offer this opportunity of distance training to suitable applicants working in conjunction with her book Priestess of Avalon, Priestess of the Goddess, Kathy Jones (Ariadne Publications). This course is unsuitable for people living in the Southern Hemisphere as each Circle of teaching is attuned to the cycle of the seasons in the Northern Hemisphere. If you feel you'd like to know Goddess better before committing to a full priestess training, or perhaps you're not yet old enough for that training, this may be a good option for you. The course is designed and run by Geraldine Charles, who has studied Goddess for over thirty years and dedicated herself to the Goddess in the 1980s. Geraldine also initiated as a Priestess in Avalon several years ago and is a founder member of the Glastonbury Goddess Temple and editor of the well-loved Goddess Pages, an online and printed magazine of Goddess spirituality in the 21st century.
